The General Authority for Islamic Affairs and Awqaf (GAIAQ) has named a newly built mosque in the city of Ras Al Khaimah after Ahmed Salem, the 20-year-old Emirati who drowned while attempting to rescue six Asian children, aged between 11 and 13, in the rough seas of the Azan area on October 9, Khaleej Times reported.
