Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) leader Ajit Singh was Sunday inducted into the union cabinet and given charge of the civil aviation ministry, days after his party joined the ruling United Progressive Alliance (UPA) ahead of upcoming elections in Uttar Pradesh.
