Cabinet clears Land Acquisition Bill

The cabinet Monday cleared the "historic" Land Acquisition and Rehabilitation and Resettlement Bill, that seeks to provide for land acquisition in a "transparent" manner. The bill is likely to be introduced in parliament Wednesday.
